Article Writing for Keywords and the 500lb Gorilla.

 The way it stands now, Building a blog, building a Brand, spending hundreds of hours promoting and ranking the blog never knowing if you can make page one seems like a lot of work. Domains and web hosting is costly over time. After a year everything needs to be renewed. The internet is a grave yard of Ideas that didn't make it. Not to mention the learning curve and never ending bombardment of promotional advertisements. Warning, Warning, Danger Will Robinson, Confusion , Misdirection and spending money on stuff that's 5 years old and no longer valid.

  A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Keyword.

I purchase a popular Keyword analysis program. Every keyword that met the criteria had competition from the big boys. You know, Amazon, Ebay and a host of others. Not one of these sites had Page Authority. They didn't have Page links. The only thing those pages had to rank number one was Domain Authority. Like the 500 pound Gorilla in the room. I didn't look at them. Nobody looks at them. Well nobody looks at them except searchers who choose them instead of our humble shack of a website made out of tooth picks

There is another way to make passive income on the internet. It is called Article writing for shared revenue. Basically you:

• Research Long tail Keywords for Niches that are Adsense profitable and that you can rank in.
•  Try to look at it from the perspective of the person who is enthusiastic in your chosen topic.
•  Write an enthusiastic detailed article. 
• Totally SEO the page.
•  Finally back link the page like it was your money site.

  The article for revenue sharing site places advertisements on the page you created and you share the revenue. You get 60 to 75 percent of the income depending on what host you choose. The up side?

•  The Article Domain has Page rank like the big boys. 
• If you do a little back linking and social bookmarking then your niche article should be right up there on page one. 
• You only need one researched article, not fifty. You don't have to keep writing on that topic. 
• The host ensures quality of the submissions. They make sure the site is Google friendly at all times so you don't have too.
• Set it and forget it. Unlike a blog that has to be cared for like a baby.. This is really great if you have a regular job.
• For me personally, I can focus on the idea's and less on the mechanics. You still have to research the long tail keywords and do a little back linking. After that its all creative juice.

So, I hope I've given you some food for thought. If you already are well down the road of building blogs, no worry's. You can  always do both. Sign up for an article revenue sharing site and write articles along with your regular blogging. This could be another source of income if Google changes its mind about your website.
